Crypto Prop Guide does not require an account and does not collect payment or trading credentials. The site can process basic server and security logs, an email you send voluntarily, a theme preference stored in your browser, and cookie-free visit statistics counted on our own server that never store your IP address. Affiliate destinations apply their own privacy policies after you leave this site.
Controller and contact
Crypto Prop Guide is an independent publication operated under the editorial name Myx.
Privacy enquiries can be sent to [email protected].
Data processed
Server and security logs
The web host and content-delivery provider can process an IP address, request time, requested path, browser information and security events. These logs help deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose failures.
If you contact us, we process the address, message and any information you choose to include in order to reply and keep an appropriate record.
Do not send trading credentials, identity documents, wallet seed phrases or other secrets.
Theme preference
The light or dark theme selection is stored in your browser under
cpg-theme. It is not transmitted as a user profile and can be removed by
clearing site storage.
Analytics and accounts
Crypto Prop Guide does not provide user accounts, comments, newsletters or payment forms. It does not use the site to access Kraken account balances or trading records.
This site counts its own visits. The counter runs on our own server, on open-source software, and nothing is sent to Google Analytics or to any other company. Each page view records the page, the site you arrived from, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. The IP address itself is never stored, and neither is your full browser user-agent string. The counter sets no cookie and writes nothing to your browser, which is why this site still has no cookie banner to click through.
The counter also records where you click and how far down a page you scroll, so we can see which parts of a page are actually read. Those positions are aggregated into a heat map. Your screen and your session are never recorded: session replay is switched off on our server and nothing of the kind is kept.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, the counter ignores you completely. Any tracker-blocking extension stops it as well.
Affiliate links
Clicking an affiliate link sends you to another website. The destination can receive the referral identifier together with normal web-request information. Its own privacy notice, cookies and account terms then apply.
Crypto Prop Guide does not receive the reader’s password, identity documents or private account details from Kraken through a normal affiliate link.
Legal bases and retention
Security and operational logs are processed for the legitimate interests of running and protecting the site. Email is processed to answer the request and maintain necessary business records.
Data is kept only as long as needed for those purposes, legal obligations and the resolution of disputes. Infrastructure providers can apply their own documented retention periods.
Sharing
Data can be processed by hosting, content delivery, email and security providers acting for the site. It can also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect rights and security.
We do not sell personal information.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to complain to a data-protection authority. Email [email protected] to make a request.
We may need enough information to identify the relevant email or event without collecting unnecessary identity data.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
